I take inspiration from every facet of existence, from sad or shameful moments to challenging or proud moments. In a similar way, I have no one idol, but I look up to many around me. It does not matter what their age, gender or race are - what matters to me are their values, thoughts and actions through which these are upheld. I am inspired by the work of other young persons not only in my own country but worldwide. I am also inspired by the work of one Youth serving organisation in particular in Jamaica and that is the National Center For Youth Development. This organisation has shown me that persons still care about youth and still work to ensure and secure a bright future for them. ( read more)

Yes, TakingITGlobal can help me to achieve some of my goals; actually it has already. TIG has provided me with an outlet to express my ideas to young people worldwide. I am able to learn about other cultures by getting involved in projects. That helps me to see what other youth are doing out there.
